How old are you?

Between battling a head cold and enjoying the wonderful weather, I have neglected my posts.  But today, I found something post worthy.  I have been hunting for new sites and exploring new blogs (thanks to Google Reader who makes them so readily available) and I came across www.chicandyoushallfind.com.  It's all vintage all the time.  These are a size 7 and not even close to my size, would hardly fit my toes, but nonetheless are awesome. Plus, they look incredibly comfy.

A Dilly Dolly Day

I would like to be this girl today -- dancing in the fields instead of sitting at my desk.  This dress by Tulle can be found at ModCloth for a reasonable $67.99.  It's girly and structured, simple and adorable.  The tights and bangs take the ensemble to the next level for me.  Granted, if I were prancing through this field, my dance would not look quite as dainty.

Summer Staples

I have a rule: never spend more than $20 on sunglasses.  I have this rule for two reasons.  One, I treat my shades horribly and they normally don't last longer than a season.  Two, I like to scatter a variety in my car, handbags, and house and choose based on my mood.  These Urban Outfitter's shades are a perfect match -- at only $10, they are cheap and sturdy enough to hold their own against whatever else happens to be in my bag.

California Casual

After spending a weekend in California where the sunshine seems to never end, I am aching for mother nature to bring some to the east coast.  As the weathermen were warning North Carolinians of snow to come, I watched three girls hop on bikes with bathing suits to head to the beach.  I almost pushed one over out of pure jealousy.  Instead of resulting to violence, I began shopping for a bathing suit so I'm fully prepared when summer hits.  At a steep $128 each, I don't believe I'll be giving Anthropologie my business for this Heidi Klein bikini.  However, I will be on the lookout for a look-alike.

Goodbye Boots, Hello Ballet

As I sit inside on this rainy Monday, I dream of going outside in something other than my giant, black, dull rain boots that make me walk like a toddler.  Granted they still call my name in freezing temperatures, but I am strongly considering making the switch to the Rainy Day ballet flats from J. Crew.  As the rainy spring days approach, their $55 price tag doesn't seem too unreasonable -- plus it would give me the gift of walking like a lady.  Do I stay faithful to boring black or venture into some "deep chartreuse?"

Current Crush

Call me crazy, but I have my eye on a pair of Oxfords.  Something is drawing me in and I want to find out what. I have been looking all over the place for a pair that would suit me, and I think I may have a winner.  Steve Madden makes amazingly comfortable shoes and tends to be my go-to brand for everyday wear.  These Tuxxedo Oxfords are on sale for $49.95 and if you Google for a coupon you can get an extra 20% off.

Maxi Size Love

I am a huge fan and avid stalker of Gilt, however I just joined Swirl to see how it compares.  It's only my first week, and so far I hadn't been blown away like I was immediately with Gilt.  However, today's Tart sale gave me hope.  This dress is an awesome color and I'm sure I would live in this when the weather allows.  The best part is it's budget friendly price tag of $39.  Seems to reasonable to be true.

Foot Fetish

I have my eye on spring and I'm not looking back.  It doesn't matter how many sandals I accumulate, I am always on the hunt for more.  These Gentle Souls at Piperlime have the fitting name Break My Heart with a price tag of $185.  Consider my heart broken.

Drape Me Cozy

While being snowed in for an entire weekend, I managed to look at every item shopbop.com currently has in inventory.  I found this reasonably priced dress that looks so amazingly comfortable I don't know if I would rather wear it out or wear it on the couch.  This Ryba dress comes in black and grey and is only $119 which is on the low end of shopbop's dress selection.  I love the shoulder peep show.  Plus I'm oddly attracted to the fact that I could wear this out and not feel too bloated when I eat too much at dinner.

Nothing Neutral

These are at the top of my wish list at the moment. They may be neutral, but there is absolutely nothing boring about these beauties from Coach. Currently sold in stores and online at Nordstrom. Normally the $198 price tag were scare me away, but I'm going to stay optimistic that these might land in my closet this spring.
